Palmetto Proactive Opens Greenville Office - April 1st 2013

SPARTANBURG, S. C., April 1, 2013 – Palmetto Proactive Healthcare, a direct primary care medical practice based in Spartanburg, opened a new office in Greenville, South Carolina. The practice does not contract with outside third parties such as insurance companies, allowing the doctors to provide healthcare services at affordable prices.

“Our new location permits us to more conveniently serve many of our current patients who travel from Greenville to our Spartanburg office. It also allows us to expand our service area and reach new families with our fresh and modern approach to traditional medicine where the patient, not the insurance company, comes first,” explained Doctor Jerome Aya-Ay, one of the firm’s founders.

The new facility, located at 1120 North Pleasantburg Drive, Suite 301, offers five exam rooms, a procedure room and onsite X-ray and lab testing capabilities. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Prices for exams and lab tests are posted on the company’s website.

“We are able to provide most routine medical services including sports, physical and gynecological examinations, and minor surgical procedures. We also work with patients who are managing chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes,” said Dr. Chris McCarthy, co-founder.
